On the third night of Chanukah, 26 Kislev 5786, December 16, 2025, the Aleph Institute dedicated its new rear entrance, which was installed with the help of a grant from the State for enhanced security at the facility and a generous donation from Mr. and Mrs. Gary Tuckfelt.
The new rear entrance enhances the use of the facility, especially for the Shabbos and Jewish holiday programs, which take place in the lower level, through the rear entrance. The additions enhance the space and make accessibility much safer and more secure.
In addition, the Aleph Institute celebrated the welcoming of a new Sefer Torah, which had been at the State prison of Rockview Pennsylvania for the last 40 years; that institution is now being closed, and the Sefer Torah is at the Aleph Institute. It will be used monthly at the services which take place at Aleph Institute.
