Hilchos Bais Habechirah

► During the three weeks when we mourn the destruction of the Temple, the Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged that we study the laws of the rebuilding of the Temple, as described by Maimonides in his famous works, the Yad Hachazakah.

► These laws describe the construction and function of the various rooms in the Holy Temple and the rituals that were performed there.

► The three weeks of mourning begin with the fast day of the Seventeenth of Tammuz and end on the Ninth of Av.

► The material is printed and sent to the participants by Aleph Institute. There are no other books required, and testing is done by the proctor at the completion of the studies.
