Publications

1. Torah Thoughts: Written in modern language and packed with contemporary insights, these weekly one-page publications teach an important Jewish concept gleaned from the world Torah reading for the week. For many, the program has successfully opened a window of understanding into the wisdom of the Bible.

2. Torah Tapes: Each week, Rabbi Lipskar gives a class which is regularly attended by approximately 250 people. The lecture is recorded live on audio cassettes and sent directly to the prisons via first class mail.

3. The Week in Review, a weekly publications explaining the portion of the Torah as ready in the synagogue, with an explanation and lessons, the Torah teaches us. It is published weekly in NY, and mailed to every Jewish inmate in the US.

4. The Aleph Advisory; published ahead of every Jewish holiday, with instructions for the Chaplain of the institution, to be aware and assist the chaplain of the institution, of the needs of the Jewish men for the upcoming Jewish holiday, widely respected and it has become a guidelines for chaplains across the US.

5. 'Aleph Report' a annual report of the projects and programs currently underway at the Aleph Institute - North East Region (2011 Report).
