Departments of Correction
In all Federal prisons and most state prisons, there is a full time Chaplain, who oversees the religious needs of inmates at that institutions, it is his or her responsibility to provide where possible a Rabbi for the Jewish inmates.
If you have a family member of friend incarcerated whose religious rights are not being met, please don't hesitate to call or write to the Aleph Institute. We will do all we can to insure the religious needs are being met. Please provide the name, prison number and institution name and state.
